We were asked to provide a photo with our profile. I thought this one was a bit interesting and also dog related. If you look closely you will see that I worked a Black Labrador named Fiebe. Obviously that's me on the left.
This photo was taken in Parliament Building in Wellington during one of our searches. The New Zealand flag was found in the debris of one the Twin Towers when they were hit in the 9/11 bombings. The flag originally gifted by the New Zealand Government was returned to our government when found during the clean up. It is amazing that it only had minor damage.

I originally went on the judges panel in 1995. I am now on the Test C panel. I really enjoy judging as well as competing. I did take some time off the panel to work as an Explosives Detector Dog handler for a couple of years.
I have owned and competed with Border Collies for the last 20 years. At the moment I am working a Border Collie in Test B - Demi, and I also have a young puppy in training - Token.
I would like to thank the organising committee for inviting me to judge this year. NDTA's are special.
I look forward to catching up with everyone from around the country and wish all competitors good luck. NDTA 2008 will be good fun.
