I started competing in agility in the good old days when agility consisted of Starters and Open classes and was usually held after an obedience show.

I got hooked immediately and after competing for about a year thought I’d like to give something back to this awesome sport, so sat the judges’ exam. I’ve been judging for about 18 years and still love it. I haven’t competed much for a while but recently got given a wonderful little rehome (something?) so am looking forward to running a dog again soon.

I’ve been lucky enough to have been invited to judge at many clubs around New Zealand and have made some great friends along the way.
