YKC Obedience is being held on the 25th October in conjunction with the NDTA so bring your kids along and have some fun in the "Give it a go class".


There will be two sections of YKC Obedience.

Experienced. S/B to Test C
For the people that have qualified during the year by competing at champ shows and getting 90% in the test that they are entering. YKC Obedience will be judged as per normal obedience classes. Placings are worked out on the highest percentage over all the tests and are to 5th place. Start time 1pm inside the building.

Give-it-a-go Beginners 10am Outside
Age levels -under 8s, 8-11yrs, 12-15yrs, 16-24yrs.
Ribbons to 3rd place in each age group.

Open to young handlers that have never run in a standard class at a championship competition.
All age groups will be at same time using an elementary standard course, with results broken into age groups.

Handlers can enter with any dog, even a test C dog, and still compete on an elementary level course. Handlers Do Not have to be NZYKC Members!
